Corrosion check , before its too late - by NPK
I saw some "pimple" kat lower frame (dekat mudflap depan) on Green TE.

Korek2...dah de lubang about 2" diameter...going to send to panel beater esok to tampal balik.

I took out the mudflap and the wheel arc cover(plastic hitam macam daun pisang). Manyak muck.

I did the cleaning up on my Blue TE and wanted to do the same on the Green TE before CNY...tapi dah lewat, corrossion dah cos lubang. Anyway, after tampal, I am going to spray anti rust into all the channels and under-carriage.

I strongly recommend that W124 owners to remove the daun pisang every 6 months to remove the muck. The muck keep the area damp and corrosion will be very severe.

And for those yg de panel Masterpiece, Bro Buck pernah bagi website that show how much muck can be collected behind the panels.

T told me that to remove the panels agak susah...most of the screws kena change. I x pernah study how those panels are fitted, so x boleh komen.

Tapi, I still think that it is good to remove the panels and buat a good coat of anti rust. W124 manyak dah lama2(more than 10 years old, I punya dah 16 years). It is impossible that kereta of this age x de karat.
