Dear buck and bros,

Can I make a suggestion regarding the classifieds section? I personally feel that our classifieds section isn't very attractive and hence tends to be rather dormant.

Most other websites create a classifieds section under the forums and people open threads if they have classified items. This way the threads become very attractive, attracts traffic and their classifieds section becomes very attractive and 'grows'.

The way our classifieds is set up at present, people do need to post in the forums to create awareness about the item for sale.

Personally, I prefer the classified section is seperated from the forum. If I am looking for something to buy, I would know where to go .. just like the newspapers.

However, I agree that the existing classified needs to be more attractive to attract attentions.

the classifieds section will soon be changed....Only a matter of time..

I personally like to saperate forum and classified under different section...If we post everything in the forum than we have to deal with so many UNKNOWN SALESMAN that will take advantage to our members...

As for me, MYBENZ will try not to follow method from other clubs..just like to be different..but we can still learn from other clubs..just to make us better..

And YES, the way our classified look now need to get more attention...I believed bro buck aware of it..

Thanks for the input. Yup true, the classified section will be upgraded (together -gether with the whole portal). Will be something like Benzito-Mall or something of that magnitude.

The way our portal organised not very suitable for active buying-n-selling to be conducted in forums, otherwise the left pane will be full of wts,wts,wtb threads.

While waiting for the full blown Benzito-Mall e-commerce portal come to be. Heres some modifications to the current classified:

1 - Direct Access from top-menu --- |Buy-N-Sell|
2. Image size limit increase to 500kb (1200x1200)
3. Lifespan for ads now is 45 days * previously 30days
4. Longer page listing
5. 2000 characters Text limit.

Click on Buy-N-Sell menu now..to see it in action
