Got my car done with custom fitting the sun shade. Looks pretty cool alright albeit is one inch short at the top.. No complain as is quite good.

which one are you talking about? the meter cluster or sun shade?

meter cluster is off Mudah, saw the ad and must have it as is really rare to get the Ori AMG cluster for W126, EVEN in the states or anywhere else! Didnt care much and paid cash on the same day to gain pocessions. hehehe...

Took to 2 electricians and told is not going to fit my car as it is off Gen 1 W126, Mine being a Gen 2, will loose out some features. The socket is different as well. However I can do some modification to it and get it working for my car. Cost.. dont know yet.

Since not in a hurry and I might change my total outlook to a classy W126 ( 15 INCH 15 HOLES wheels), I am just going to leave it as it is. Maybe one day, I ll buy a nice 380SEC, then is time for this baby to shine. At present, is a very nice decoratice pocessions on my shelf! hahaha


Sunshade,

I spend more time in search of this for a long time. I was looking at the Hyundai Sonata/ Proton Perdana version since it will be easier to fit as they come in a whole assembly tube. I managed to found out the manufacturer and called them up. Apparently these are no longer in production for the past 3 years. Called up major accessories shops including ALL BROTHER'S store in Klang Valley with no avail.
I didnt believe this and tried my luck in Brother's nearest to my place, AND I found 2 set of this within 5 mins, The sales girl has no idea what are these and I got away for RM270 ( 30 RM discount) as soon as I tested them being working!

Installation, I am asking Carbi Deco to customised my speaker board- which mainly taking out the small rear speakers and cut out a tunnel that will fits the shade assembly. They will do the wiring, adjusting the height of the shade and lastly, revelour the board! All in for less than RM200. Cant wait to see the finishing touch

My Grey Velour mat has arrived. Previously found a set of W210 mats from my gf's place but it was a bit hard and degraded at the base, So I bought myself a Brand New Mercedes Mats for W220 S class in Alpaca Grey. The colour is lighter than my carpet and seats but the quality is unbelievable! Is so smooth that I feel like taking my shoes off each time i get in the car! OK, it didnt fit as nice as my old set and is only 4 pieces compare to 5, But everytime I open the door and the shinning original metal plate greets me in the eye, priceless. I also bought a set of beige one for my W140 when is done!
