will this do the adaptation for the stepping motors for W211. from - http://www.mbca.org/forum/w209-how-replace-steper-motor "hold the defrost and the recirculation buttons down at the same time until the lights start flashing so there is no need for STAR." |

Will ask the mechanic to do the adaptation if I decided to purchase a new operating unit ( depend on the price  )Thanks |

If You Did NOT Carry Out The Adaptation For The Stepping Motors It Also Can Be The SAME Problem Happens To The NEW Unit ... Hope This Helps ...

W211 4zone climate control with digital display The 4zone climate control is faulty.
Very little air flow coming out from the 2 center vent. The flap is not fully open. Air flow to other vent is normal. Plug in a control panel from another 211 and air flow for all vent is working fine. Set the circulation off and air flow to center. Put back the faulty control panel without connecting the "canbus" wire. Now cannot change the air flow to windshield or foot area - no auto climate air flow Workshop is not in favor of 2nd hand unit cos had recently get 2 unit which is also faulty and price 1K plus. Currently no stock at Suan Huat or ProAuto. They are waiting for price quotation from Singapore. I'm wondering if the control unit is repairable? |
