Can & how to dismantle the Side Mirror. I need to replace some internal parts.

Can't you get a used mirror and avoid the hassle of dismantling (and possibly damaging some parts)???

Yes! I've fitted a replacement side mirror already, however my inquisitive mind & itchy fingers, wants to see what makes things tick. So I wondered if anyone has opened one up & let me know how it's done. Best of luck in the competition at the end of the month.
