I am considering buying a B class. Can current owners please provide some feedback (good and bad ones) ?

I have search this forum but did not find much on the B class. It is such an unpopular model?

Also another thing to note is that the car is front wheel drive and front-heavy so expect heavier tire wear on the front, as well as the possibility of having to replace a ball joint. Or two.

Early B170s, and also to some extent, B180s, have been known to be underpowered. Up to speed it is a comfortable ride, but it won't happen instantaneously.

Also, if you're referring to the W246 B-class (new model) then I'm afraid all this don't apply, that's a completely new car.

Wondering whether the B class has any class specific issues, eg the SBC pump issue in W211.
Is it true it comes with special run flat tires and has no spare tire?

Hi,

On the run flat tyres, yes it does. No spare either. The w204 (C class) however comes with pneumatic tyres and a spare. This was as of Feb/Mar 2013 when I enquired and test drove both models at Hap Seng Star.
