Firstly i would like to apologize to all, for being quiet for so long. I've been so busy with work outstation and also its becoz I had a problem to log into this forum for few times before. Only recently i managed to get back to this forum. Really sorry......

Mary (W140 SEL 420 93) Chronology…
Its been a year after i've send the car to ADI (Shah Alam) to solve my overheating and jerking problem.

With ADI before I’ve done service, change the flywheel sensor and replaced my ECU (2nd hand ECU). After a while (after 2 months) the problem came back. On April 2011, I did top overhaul with SINGH AUTO SERVICE at Jalan Silibin, Ipoh Perak. After done the top overhaul, the overheating problem solved but Mary is under power and the jerking problem still exist.

At last yesterday 21st September 2011, I decided to give a call to our sifu (Dr Gan) and make appointment with him and drove down to Johor Bahru. At first I thought just to get some advised and do some checking. But after done diagnose and seen the faulty list I decide to listen to sifu advise before it lead to major problem.

Below is a “boom” list to do that advise by our lovely Dr Gan;-

Description of work:
-Repair Auto Transmission oil leak
-Replace engine knock sensor (to solved jerking and power)
-Replace stabilizer linkage and bush
-Replace longshaft coupling front
-Overhaul power steering pump and box

I have a feeling that Mary lacks her exercise, These cars should run often,

Big V8s/V12s tend to invoke carbon and/or gum up faster if the performance parameters are not breached once in a while...

So..Wiseguy, selepas ni, bila dah sembuh....pergi ler jalan jauh sikit like Penang or Cherating/Ganu kite and/or Cameron Highlands.

If you don't have the time, just give the old girl a routine exercise every 2 days. One of which is :

Run the car at 2nd gear to 6k rpm and release accelerator immediately. Do it 2/3 kali and then run it thru the gears at WOT (Wide Open Throttle). When you release the throttle after a high rpm, the ensuing decompression sort of 'seals' the piston rings and dislodges some carbon/gum in yer internals.

The above method is called 'Italian Tuning' and used by all sorts of Italian cars, from AR to Fcar.......and it bloody works. If you can go to the track...after TWO laps ya'll see and feel the engine is more responsive since the car has been de-carbonized by the extreme whacking it gets on the track (High RPMs).....

Disclaimer : Wa tak suruh lu pergi laju sangat...setakat 120-140km/h but in 2nd/3rd gear. Janganlah sampai 240km/h pulak at 6k rpm... Itu Abang Mal Cossie punye territory...
