Hi guys, I just sold off my 1987 W124 200E for RM10,000 and am planning on buying a 1995 onwards Mercedes C200. Saw a few on sale at mudah.my for around RM25,000.

Anyone with prior experience with this merc model can give me some insight on potential problems on this car.Normally what should I look out for with this model?

Parts that i've changed so far for the last one year for my c200 year 1997:-

1) ECU - second hand - rm1800
2) Throttle body - Rm 3200
3) V Belt - Rm 180
4) Absorbers - RM 275 each
5) Upper arm - Rm 350 each
6) Disc brake - Rm 75 each for the front, RM 95 for the rear
7) Vacum pump - RM1200
8) Brake pads- Rm 110 for one set
9) Petrol filter and fuel pump - Rm 500

If you have any workshop that its cheaper,pls contact me as I want to send my car to your workshop. For me, my C200 year 1997 is a good car. Full tank RM 130 can go up to 580kilometres.

I am searching for the steering as I need to change for a new one..any ideas where I can get it? Cheap2 one...

bro,

check wiring kat engine bay, in fact all the wires
should`nt cracked.if theres a lot of exposed wiring,
better skip n look for another one.

it is prone to short-circuit n will damaged
your car brain n if so will cost u arm n leg to
replace it n to re-do the wiring.

yg lain2 tak byk problem sbb `95 4 speeder, low maintenance
just like your 124.
