I don't know why anyone hasn't started this thread yet, or maybe it has? Although some of us have met during some of the TT sessions, many don’t. Beside, most members are all scattered across Malaysia and overseas. In addition, some has introduced themselves to the community while some don’t. Let's use this thread to consolidate who we are..

I just want to get a basic idea of who’s everyone is around here. Of course those who want to share....don't be afraid….only share what you want us to know about you. As the saying goes..”tak kenal maka tak cinta” as we are on line almost everyday to some while others choose to stay interactive on weekly, monthly or perhaps on a yearly basis….

Let me start…

My name is Mabel, name after my daughter’s cat. The reasons for me to choose this name are purely symbolic:

1st: Mabel is simply adorable and everyone in our family loves her.
2nd: Being a cat, she’s always curious; hence choosing her as my avatar hopefully should be a good excuse whenever I post questions into the community.
3rd it just a plain simple name and can easily be remembered.

I'm Badrulh frm Terengganu,so as my name, quite new as a member.
My job is to assist people to solve their prob with tickets,bags,
embark/disembarking,on time departure and also as a tourist information.
Joined this community bcoz I like to make friends and share knowledge.
My first conti car is Opel 1.6 coupe,very rare on the road.
I keep it 12years with me. 2nd is W123-200 with me 4years.
Currently W124 -260E and I'm really enjoy the power of
Straight 6.I like hi speed driving too .
I'm 40's,love to trvl and driving,but not with flying .
All the time I'm at my base in Terengganu unless on duty travel.
But all in all,I'm a bit shy guy.It take many2 years for me to break the ice.

Born in PJ and grew up in JB and cirrently
residing Kulai-fornia
Got interested in cars as a kid and now I am in the
late thirties. My first car I bought was when I was 17 and it was a W115 200 ( not the same one I have now ) since then , I played with so many cars , just name it from Fiat 500, volvo 122 , Citroen CX BX,Athena, couple of VW,Holden.BWM's and the list goes on....The only make I never bought is an ALfa ( Takde rezeki i think . )

After using all these cars , breaking down on the roadside is not new to me, I always travell with a nearly complete tool box, never leave home without it.Also ready to help anyone on the roadside anytime as long as I am not too fast
and too late to turn back.

I work for well established American company which is more than 100 years old......high presure job.

i am a bean counter, perhaps the reason for choosing all the lower maintenance cars... first car bought when i was 24, a manual wira for 3 years.... then a corolla altis 1.8 for 3 years... then a silvia s15 for 3 years... then a 1962 mini wolseley hornet MK1 for fun..... and now a w208 230K cabrio

in my research to get the right 300SL, i owe special thanks to mdameer and mrlee.... i also enjoy and learn a few things from reading posts of Mabel, renngrun and DrGan

i have always wanted an Alfa, but never did out of fear of not enough vitamins to keep the bella running, a jaguar MK2, and the 300SL beauty... never came across the right sample or the right price

currently keeping the s15, the mini and the w208

i love them all :)

am staying in ampang - and my neighbour Kamarulzaman Tambu.... parks all his 3 cars in the same parking - is a big influence... he owns a 3-series cabrio, a Z3 cabrio and a w208 CLK32 cabrio
