Guys, we can no longer renew our road tax if we have outstanding summons including saman ekor.

just happened to me. tried to renew my road tax but cant due to a saman ekor for speeding.

RM300 donated to our government.

Some acquaintances had summonses dating back to 2000 also could not renew their road tax and had to pay it all at one go.

i'm now super alert especially when i am driving in a 60km zone.

Very very agree with bro jason I could not renewed my road tax last week until settle all the saman ekor 8 summon 2K cost, now a become a very good driver, drive only 50km like did in Vietnam hi way... 100km drive for 2 hours in higway....

a gentle reminder to those people who are not santa clauses...obey the law and don't be too generous!

If I can suggest, buy a GPS...

During last hari raya trip back to East Coast, this device has saved me alot of money...as it tells me...whenever there are a speed zone..

As an exmaple, I was having a chase ride from KT to KB with a Perdana V6. About few km from Jertih, my GPS told me.."Speed Zone Alert"...let that car passed ....few km down the road..saw that car being stopped by the police for exceeding speed limit...

Yes i agree with what Mabel says,
the gps is a very good tool to prevent speed traps..bought mine for about 600,and it has saved me from many speed traps,so i guess its actually profitable..
as a side feature,besides saving me from kena saman,it happens to show me the directions to wherever i wanna go
