Tried them out on 2 occassions, as follows: 1. Car slight jerk when driving off from standstill - they checked gearbox, driveshaft and did not find any issue. However, they discovered that the rubber bushing at the end of the driveshaft was worn and changed that for approx RM300 I think. The problem did not go away. Took it back to my regular mechanic and it was the ignition coil. 2. On 2nd occassion, windscreen washer was not working. They diagnosed this correctly to the washer pump and it was replaced at RM70. The reason I decided to try Utama Menzi was that i think it's best to have a backup workshop nearer to my place, a "JUST IN CASE" policy. Thus far, I'll keep them as a 2nd choice, thankfully they did not screw up my car. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. regards... regards...

Different workshops have different specialties. If we know what the problem is , we may point you in the right direction Mechanics are like doctors ...you have the specialists and you have the GPs Go to a GP for normal servive , oil change , mechanical repair Go to a Specialist for Vacuum, Electronics ,gearbox overhaul and etc As for you since they broke the door panels , I guess you have a problem with the locking mechanism or power window ? ---------------- Fo shizzle ma nizzle! U are very right..now i know they only know normal services. My front right panel is because the window couldn't be closed..so they open my door panel then its broke.. My rear right door handle broke when they try 2 repair the central locking. My question is every time open..must broke something and i have to find the parts..they been muted until i call them. Please give me the best place for W220 specialist place Well, I suppose if they agreed to take on the job and broke anything associated with the panel, the least they could do is to replace the broken bits and pieces at no cost. On another note, I'm sure the plastic clips that hold the panel to the door would have been broken due to age (brittle), and the easy way out is to apply tar and/or hot melt to stick it back on. You may want to take note of this too. All the best. regards...

Eventhough you are the first to arrive at the shop at 9 am , they still take their own sweet time to start the job. Also only one man is assign to your car and he takes a long time to complete the job. 2. Spare parts take hours to arrive and are very expensive. 3. Workmanship not acceptable. 4. They seem to take on a lot of work but don't have enough manpower. I'm surprised that they damaged the door panels. That job should be simple since they do a lot of Merc cars.
