Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... Hi guys,
I am just compiling some feedback form those that had tried using Diamondbrite for their cars. I have just tried it on my merc W220 in the last 1 week and was thinking we should share more information on the product. So far I am quite pleased with the initial results on the product but am begining to have some doubts and wanted to clear the air before I decide on sending my other cars for Diamond Brite application. Have anyone out there tried it before and what are the pro's and cons of this product. Are they really as good as they claim? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance. Regards anthony383 |

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... The majority of car detailers here swear by Diamond Brite.

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... So it seems..... Only time can tell. Thanks Gerardj for your response.
Wonder if the 6 year warranty does really work. I am just curious and wondering if I should sent my other car but prefer to do some research and get some feedback from end users of the realiabilty of the product. |

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... What is the damage??? RM1,200 per Diamond Brite??? U go to Kepong BP service station, the polishing and waxing for the entire car only cost RM160, machine car wash RM5/car. If money is not a problem, then go ahead

RM1200 for 6 years is a good deal..normal polish and wax will stand only for a few months..

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... In six years...I could get a coat of paint of the same color for that price.
A wax job after every wash will do for me I think I would pay that much if it was a Ferrari, Lambo or something along that line ![]()

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... Thank you lee Beeng koon, badrulh & Schenker for your feedbacks.
In terms of pricing, I paid RM 1288 for the DiamondBrite application. I did some simple math and by just looking at waxing the car every six months of RM 150 per application I would have spend RM1800 for the six years waxing. One point I liked about this product is that the manufacturer is bold and dare to give the gurantee as they believe in their product. Honestly, after Diamondbrite application, my car looked amazing and I was really impressed with the product. Just to give you an idea of the state of my car before i sent my car to the workshop (my car was suppose to be sent for a paint job due to the many battle scars it has obtained in the past 4 years I have owned it). When i collected the car, it looked stunning. Seeing it in person, will make you believe how my car has transformed. My point for this tread is for me to get some feedback from end users who has tried this product before and would like to share their experience to others on the goods and bad of this product so that other's could benefit by reading this tread. For those that had shared some tots, Thank you very much. For those who has any tots to share, you are welcome to post it here! Best regards anthony383 ![]() |

Re: Diamond Brite - Need feedback from those that had tried it... Go for it. Great product...
![]() Most hi-end cars in US/UK/DE have these coatings on to preserve their shine. Reason being is that whilst it is initially expensive, the coating will protect your original paint. By having the shine/gloss depth for longer, you then don't need to wax or worse, polish your car to get the shine...since every polishing job takes a few microns of the paint, i.e thins the paint down. If you own a thoroughbred car...last thing you wanna do is to have to repaint yer car since that will bring the price down come resale time. Hence Diamond Brite and the other coating products come into their own among car lovers. And in the US/UK/EU...an out-coat refinishing (single-layer Malaysian speak, which is never single layer actually!!)same paint refinish will cost you ca.USD5000 and a full refinish is ca.USD7000-20000!! ![]() In Malaysia refinishing a car is relatively 'cheap' and hence some peeps will think of just refinishing their cars when the paint goes bad. It's up to you to have your cars done up with DB. It is a good product...but does your other cars 'deserve' it?? Your call.... ![]() ![]() ![]()
