Re: Day 5: Ibadah Tawaf Dan Solat berjamaah di Makkah.
Here is my usual tips which I usually give to all my friends who will be performing Umrah/Hajj. This time, I would like to also share this all my friends here in Mybenz.

Insha Allah with Allah's blessing and help, I will do the same in this coming trip...

ﻪﺘﺎﻜﺮﺒﻮ ﷲﺍﺔﻤﺤﺭﻮ ﻡﻜﻴﻠﻋ ﻢﻼﺴﻠﺍ

Alhamdullilah and Jazakaalah for selecting my friend as the ONE that has accepted Nabi Ibrahim's call for Hajj when commanded by Allah to call all mankind to come to Baitulllah few thousand years ago. Congratulation! for being the chosen one from the billions of Muslim.

This is a Jihad; every single step will be multiplying to maximum of 700 pahala (depending on your niat) from the moment you start your journey. In addition to what you have learned from “Kursus Haji”, enclosed are some useful tips to secure Hajj, Umrah and Ziarah Mabrur.

The Journey

Read as many Qulhuwallah from the moment you steps out of your house. Have the ambition to recite 100,000 times during your journey to the holy land. It will help you.

When you have place your niat Ihram for Hajj/Umrah, recite as many labaikallah as possible since every single stone, trees etc during your journey while reciting the labaikallah will pray for your forgiveness. You also fulfill Nabi Ibrahim Alaihisallam call for Hajj some thousand years ago.

MADINAH

Selawat as many as possible when enter Madinah. Have the ambition to do 92,000. Do "Iktiqaf" in Raudah and if possible, ziarah the prophets after every prayer. Please send our salam to the prophet and the two Sahabat, Saidina Abu Bakar and Umar. Take the time to visit Baqi and Uhud and send my salam to them.

Go to Masjid Quba, especially on Saturday morning with Wudhuk from your hotel and perform Solat Sunat at Masjid Quba. The fadhilat is Umrah. At Quba, there are 2 places you should look for. One is where the prophets received his wahyu upon reaching Madinah and another one is where the Camel stops at the Quba. Both of these places have 4 pillars and they are both on the on the right side of the mosque. You should perform your solats and doa there.

MAKKAH

Now when it comes to the Kaaba, in the Quran, Allah teaches us that if all mankind and all the jinn combined to sin and move away from Allah then Allah doesn't lose “one atom's worth of his kingdom” and if mankind and jinn combined to dedicate every second of their life to prayer and to worship to the one Allah then Allah's kingdom doesn't gain an atom's worth as well.

What does this philosophy teach you?

It teaches you that Allah is not in need of you or your practices or your worships or your prayers. You are in need of these practices and worships. You are in need of Allah and not the other way around. If you can understand that philosophy then you can appreciate prayers and what these are meant to do which is basically to enlighten you.

Your first sight at Kaabah is very Mustajab. Take the opportunity to doa that “all your doas is fulfilled dunia and akhirat”. Use Time Management since there are many things to do with such a limited time. Try to divide your time in Mecca into 3 periods:

1. Do alot of Tawafs.

When you circle around the Kaabah 7 times the essence of this worship is not that you are worshiping a stone or that you are worshiping a house or you are worshiping the Kaaba. The Kaaba is merely the focal point or the center piece that all Muslims have to unite and focus their energy and prayers towards in a practice that is actually worshiping Allah. If the Kaaba wasn't there, all Muslims will remain praying to that point. Because it’s merely the uniting point that all have to face, when worshiping their creator. Now going in circles counter-clockwise doesn't break you away from time and space, but the fact that the energy of the Kaaba is the strongest on Earth and it flows counter-clockwise by you flowing in correlation with this energy you are uplifting yourself. You are reaching spiritual levels that you rarely do experience anywhere else on earth and the fact that you got to do it 7 times and we are taught that there are seven skies or seven spiritual planes then one can discover that each circle breaks you through a spiritual plane spiritually so you can reach the ultimate state of wisdom and spirituality.

Hence, you should take the opportunities to do alot of tawafs....lots of it, as many as you can. (Have the ambition to do 50 Tawafs i.e. 50x 7 tawafs by time management. By doing this you will automatically secured the 50 tawafs fadhilats, 50 solats behind Makam Ibrahim, zikir and DOA. If you finish 50 you are equal to new born baby plus all the other fadhilats, which is too many for me to write down).

Alternatively, try to do it at least after Subuh and after Asar per day. The best time is to do it after solat subuh and asar since the timing coincide with the shifts of Malaikats. There are many fadhilats performing tawafs during this time.

2. Perform Umrahs

When performing Umrah, try to take the Miqat from Jaranah as there are some views by Ulama that Umrah at Jarannah is 7X better than Umrah at Tanaim. If you can, perform Umrah on Friday or the night before. Do the first one for your self and whenever possible, perform subsequent Umrah for your parents, grandfather, grandmother, relatives or those you love who has died. You will get the same "points" as them. Allah is merciful !!!

3. Do alot of Solats

One solat perform in Masjidil haram is equal to 100,000 solats. Hence, try to do all solats. This includes solat Taubah, Dhuha, Istikarah, Hajat, Tasbih, Jenazah, Isyraak, Qabliyatan, Badiyatan, Solat Hari dan malam (Isnin-Ahad). Never miss Solat Jenazah, the fadhilat is enormous (call me if you need explanation).

Try to perform solat sunat mutlak, 100 rakaat (50 salam) in Masjidil Haram with the following distribution i.e. 20 rakaat at each corner of the Kaabah (starting with Hajar Aswaad, Rukun Iraq, Rukun Syam, Rukun Yamani) and the last 20 rakaat hehind Makam Ibrahim. In each rakaat, read Fatihah 1x, 10 Qulhuwallah. You can do at your own pace. By the time you are done, you will have completed 100 rakaat, 100 Fatihah and 1000 Qulhuwallah. According to Ulama, this solat will cover all the defects in your solat or you have missed in your younger days.

Besides reading the Quran, continue to read as many Qulhuwallah while you in hotel, walking to Masjid, shopping etc.

ZIARAH

Do a lot of Zikir, DOA and read Quran during your Zairah time in Arafah. Do not waste this precious time especially from Zuhur to Margrib on the Wukuf day. The best time to perform DOA is during sun-sets, by standing facing Mecca. If you have time, try to find the stone where the Prophets stand during the Kutbah Wida' at Jabal Rahmah at Arafah. Any mutawif will be able to direct you to this place. The DOA at this place is very mustajab. An alternative to this is to look for the highest spot at Arafah and perform the DOA while standing.

Continue recite Qul Huwallah while traveling to Muzdalifah and Mina, as many as you can.

Please do pray for all Muslim and friends during your stay at the Holy land and during your journey. One of the biggest challenges is to remember all the DOA from those who have asked you to DOA for them during your trip especially at those critical places like Multazam and Hijir. My advice to you is to DOA in blanket i.e. "Ya Allah, please forgive the sin of all my friends, family, those that have requested me to DOA for them and please fulfilled all their wishes in dunia and akhirat “. By doing this, you will doa for all those people that matters to you. This also applies when you convey the salam for Rasullulah and his two sahabats, Syadina Abu Bakar and Omar.

Some of the residents in Makkah have told me that the best time where our DOA is mustajab is : Masjidil Haram is anytime at Tawaf area
• Under Pancuran Emas di Hijir Ismail and Maqam Ibrahim during sahur
• Bukit Safar, Bukit Marwah, Mas’aa, and inside Kaabah, (Hijir Ismail) after asar
• Near telaga Zam Zam and Arafah during wukuf at sun set
• Muzdalifah, Jamratul Ula, Jamratul Wusta, Jamratul ‘Aqabah during sunrise
• Mina during mid-night on the 13th Zulhijah
• After midnight at those places in front of Kaabah.

Lastly, I pray to ALLAH for your safety, your trips be a pleasant trip and may Allah gives you all the energy and simplicity to do as many ibadah in the Holy Land and to achieve Hajj and Umrah Mabrur. Hajj/Umrah Mabrur will give you Jannah.

MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU AND FAMILY WITH THIS JOURNEY....AMIN…
