The reason is that the perception of majority of Malaysian is like that.... I have heard this a lot Dont buy Citroens ,Dont Buy BMW , Dont buy Mercedes and every other continental car around. They always told me , expensive to maintain, a lot of problem, spare part expensive or hard to get......Believe me! None of it was true, I have only used continental cars and I have never faced any of the mentioned problems by them.

Breakdownss are bound to happen, let it be any car new or old , Japanese or continental.

So for W210, lets wait for our members who used or who are still using these models to comment, I personally doubt these is any prolonging problem with this model. It is one of the very sort after models at the moment
